Wayback when in February 2020 we had our first sharing of song poems from our pilot Come On In project in Lambeth.
After placing poets and musicians in local community spaces and facilitating conversations with the people there, we commissioned a bold and beautiful set of new work from these artists.
Of course the date must be ringing alarm bells. Any future life we had planned was put on hold.
After already embracing a cross-form artistic exploration of these special places we turned to film as another component. This March (2022) we were so excited to get stuck in and film our 2nd Come On In song cycle from Loughborough Farm.
What is Loughborough Farm?
Loughborough Farm began in August 2013 and has been growing ever since. The vision was to create a patchwork of community growing spaces on pieces of derelict or underused land. Our main site is on Loughborough Road where we produce food throughout the year for our volunteers, local residents and The Platform Cafe, our community cafe.
